CPR TOOLS: TONY E FESSEL

Tony is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for CPR Tools, Inc. In addition to helping establish the technical vision of the company, he is responsible for the management and technical direction of all research and commercial product development endeavors.

Tony joined CPR Tools in 2004 as a data recovery technician and has risen through the ranks from developer, lead engineer, and to his current CTO position. Having had a hand in all of CPR Tools’ major research, development, and design efforts throughout his years with the company, Tony is able to provide technical direction from the perspective of the developer while maintaining a clear view of the overall technical goals of the company.

With over 10 years of experience in storage media research, analog and digital signal processing, driver development, and interface design he can not only envision innovative solutions to complex technological problems facing the data recovery industry, he can design and see those solutions become reality. A developer at heart, Tony still loves getting in the trenches and writing code. He is currently the Principal Investigator on a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) project sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security.

Tony holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science.
